DO: Prepare The Area. In general, our stained glass installations are simple and quick. But, it is still a process that could involve dust, scraps, and/or chemicals. For this reason, it is best if you take measures to protect your furnishings, walls, carpets by covering them with plastic. However, definitely call us about this or talk to your consultant because in some cases, you may not need worry. Also, remove valuables– our installers are top notch but it is simply a good practice for you to be in when working with any contractor.

DON’T: Don’t attempt to help your stained glass installer, lift the window or touch any of the tools. This is mostly a precautionary measure to prevent you from getting hurt but also is more convenient for you, our cherished customer. Allow the guys you paid to do the job and relax. Remember– their labor is written into our stained glass pricing.

DO: Stick Around. Most of our stained glass window installations are done in one day. Some are more depending on the size and scope of your job. But you will be told exactly how long your job will take days before it begins. Even if it is an extended project, you will be able to stay in your home while it is ongoing.

DON’T: Let your pet near the job site. Not only are pets huge distractions during install but the area is not safe for them to be in. In the long run, keep Fido behind a gate is best for you, your pet and the installer.
